are there jack stand adapters ?

Are there any manufactured jack stand adapters which have a bottom to slip over the axle type stand tops and an upper projection which fits into
the plastic jacking sockets in the underbody ?

I am prepared to make a set out of steel..... I just made one for my new floor jack.

I would want them to be deep enough to not be able AT ALL to come off the stand top--- and have the double-flat step to lock into the plastic body socket.

Why not just use flat-top stands? Certainly not the cheapest option, but it would be the strongest and most stable.

These are $60 a pop on Amazon:

    I've got 4 of these:

I seem to recall paying quite a bit less though. Anyways, had them for years and they've done me well.

If you google BMW Z3 Jack Stand adapters you will see many different adapters, these are on Amazon.

Those are jack adapters (I used a hockey puck), not jack stand adapters. The OP is wanting to use stands with the Y-shaped tops on his Z3.

The stands Vinci posted are 100% worth the dough and safe on the mounting points. And they are tall even at their lowest which is great for me and my giant noggin.

I just received these Tuesday. They fit great, but I am a little worried with how hard they are, for fear of slippage off the jack. Going to give them a try this weekend.

Thanks for the suggestions---- but non of them quite do what I want to do.
The hard rubber disk with the rectangular projection would work great on the car side but doesn't lock into the jack stand at all.
I am building some from steel--- all most done.... will posts pics if I can figure out how to....
I want to lock unto both car and stand.
