    Invalid redirect

This started happening about a week ago. Whenever I sign in, I get taken to an "invalid redirect URL" page, but everything seems to work fine from then on.

    Sign in from where? Browser?
Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by hundreds of engineers that get paid thousands of dollars for something you bought at Pep Boys because your buddy who doesn't have a job told you it was 'better'?!?

Firefox 50.1, Windows XP, some Javascript is disabled but not from bimmerforums itself. Not using bookmarks - I go to "bimmerforums.com/forum" and sign in at the top right. Happened just now but wasn't an issue until a couple weeks ago.

I get the same thing... I believe it's because I'm already logged in (since I only get it when I log in - even though the forum knows I'm logged in already via cookies), but for some reason if I visit a sub-forum directly (from a bookmark) since the HTTPS change it shows I'm not logged in (username/password fields at the top, etc).... but as soon as I leave the sub-forum and go back to the main page or go into a thread, when I go back to the sub-forum I'm magically logged in.

So something is certainly broken. Changing the bookmark doesn't work for me BTW.

    Just tried it... still broken...

It seems after the login, it's trying to reach the http:// instead of https:// site

Sorry, Kevlar, I'm having the same problem (still this morning). My bookmark is "http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=189"

I'm having to login each time, and end at the invalid re-direct.
    I'll change to https.

    Also, note I'm using Chrome.

Edit: works fine with https bookmark.

Happened just now on Windows 7 via Chrome browser. The issue is preventing me from remaining logged in.

Your bookmark is way old. we haven't used forums.bimmerforums.com in years.

    Same problem here
Using Firefox I log in directly to a sub forum. When I get there it doesn't recognize me,so I log in and receive an "invalid redirect".When I reload the page it takes me to the requested sub forum and recognizes me.
Here's the link I'm using for initial login
    http://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/fo...-(E36-7-E36-8)

It started behaving like this on Monday, and yes I have the "remember me box" checked. Logged in and out several times with no change in behavior.

Bimmerforums uses HTTP over SSL or HTTP Secure so your link should start off with https, not http. This changed recently.

Having the same issue here, but only on Google Chrome browser, use the "bimmerforums.com/forum" URL, as Chrome is probably the dumbest browser about and cannot remember that I frequent the E36 forum often. When using Chrome, I have to Login at almost every visit (despite selecting "Remember Me") and I get the Invalid Redirect.

Use a link to the E36 forum I've always used when on SeaMonkey (http://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/fo...991-1999-(E36) ), and don't have this issue, even though I'm missing the HTTPs.

Started happening again. Appears to coincide with "bimmerforums.com" defaulting to http, not https.
