    Greetings fellow BF.com FI
Last summer was pretty good. Car worked OK, Wastegate was too small so the tune was very conservative after 5k rpm....
But still Got 630hp and 810nm/600ft-lbs

After abusing last fall... did some parting out... Sold M50NV intake and M54 intake cams for friends Drifter project

Well what then, Decided to order bigger 60mm wastegate, E-throttle from ls7, Deatschwerks FPR, New An-lines from fuel, New mac valve for wastegate.

    Then some new Rims

    Looks Okay to me

Before Xmas dropped manifold for friend to weld new WG flange
    Good old TIG weld

Sprayed some Coating of VHT Flameproof

Manifold back at it and Tested how new ''World's'' best 60mm WG would fit.

And cause i cant stand gates vacuum line... All are done by AN-4 and fittings.

Turbo to below WG port, Top of can to MAC valve

MAC Valve switched place to Strut tower...

Original Fuel lines were, rotten so they decided to go retirement

Nice things to own King E36... AN-8 Straight to OEM places

    Jaa suodatinta perään

very nice car and impressive numbers, also on the ALU M52 bottom end, makes me more confident about my M52!
can I ask what head bolts/studs you used when you where on stock ALU M52 bottom end?

Thank u sir! First Page 530hp/650nm were on alumium Block... 1.1bar of boost back then and Stock(Febi Bilstein was manufacturer) head bolts, M50NV Conrods with ARP bolts. Bolts ain't really the issue... Block threads are. There are Timeserts for ALU block that should solve the issue.

thanks! I know it is the threads, but this seems to only happen after overheating. durin 34 celcius weather this year, my e36 stayed at the right operating temperature while pushing it pretty hard at 0,8bar. I am changing my GT28 to a HX35 now, so was hoping I could up the boost a bit. 400hp at 1bar would be nice! and it seems I can do that on stock bolts. was thinking about going for the raceware studs for the M54 otherwise. I don't want to timesert the engine since my power goals for now is only 400hp and it is a lot of work.
thanks a lot for your input! appreciatie it!

No e85 for me, its hard to get around here. 98RON or even 102RON is easily available here. will be tuning on 98.

Is yours Montreal blue btw? Paint looks in great condition!

Yeah! We might have just hit 500whp mark last year.... Debeaded tyre so dyno did say 430whp LOL

It is possible to hit 800 crank @26psi , if i that Garrettmotion boost adviser is right

Do u have any good timing for those s52 cams?

I didn't play with it that much. It made best power with the intake cam at 120 degrees, which is stock, and exhaust cam at like 108 degrees, which I think is a little bit retarded from stock.

So finally today arrived parts from states. Hot boiii cams

Now all I have to do is just put it together.. These were last parts. Oh and got Dash-8 adaptors To Flexfuel sensor. From www.finjector.com

Decided To not assembly Supertech valvesprings yet. Sticking with 33mm Ina lifters and Oem B28 springs. Those are good to 7500rpm at least.

Dreaming Forged pistons and 6870 precision maybe In future.

Sooo.... Been running this car now like few months, after got it finally Dynoed. Same tuner as Last time, good and professional tuning.

Final numbers, 720hv/820nm of torq. Around 22psi.

And Finally decided To use Maxxecus Traction control Mode, n boost control by gear. 1-2 is 12psi of boost and 3 To 5 is 22psi.

All seems To work nice... Great once again

Yeah! Nothing much upgrades here, still rocking same 3year ago build "budget" engine, and it has had seen some abuse.
I did upgrade the driveshaft for CV joint model, from e36 3.0 m3 tho.

Upgraded smaller exhaust housing for gtw3884r now 1.00ar T3 twinscroll.. Finally seeing 1bar boost @~4k
Also did 4port Mac valve for boost control, but haven't tested it yet, curious To find out difference In boost pickup.

    Pull @22psi

This year curious To find out what does 28psi do for powercurve

It has been nice summerdaily To be honest, lot of smiles

    And King of engines

How is the Mac valve handling the heat from the turbo being so close? I’m trying to figure out where to put mine.

Hey Matuh, how have you found the MaxxECU? I'm looking for something that's ideally plug and play for my M52B28 E36 compact and they seem to fit the bill. How did you find tuning, features and options? Got any knowledge comparison to other ECU options?
