'07 328xi - Can't turn off DTC

So I bought the car a few months ago and haven't been able to turn DTC off. I've tried pressing the button, holding the button for 5, 8, & 10 seconds, nothing. Checked all fuses, and read pretty much every forum I could find on the matter, still nothing. At this point any advice anyone could give would be much appreciated.

hey guys,

i have exactly the same issue. no matter what i do the dtc button does nothing at all. no codes or faults what so ever. no lights on kombi, i have checked and updated all software, its the absolute strangest thing and doing my head in also.

any help or ideas anyone?
