i'm a bit behind the times but what all can the intravee do?

you can use it to control the navigation , fold the mirrors auto lock and add xm radio cd changer and also add 2 aux ports and use it with the i phone pretty cool device

Some say you can do the "tap to pass" option as well - just expensive way to do it. That is the only way to get that option to work on the face lift cars as they have a one wire turn signal system. The pre-face lift car have a two wire system and there are aftermarket mods for that but they won't work on face lift cars.

well intravee II has allot of cool little tricks that make driving the E38 easier.
I personally like the iphone music playing to oem screeen and you control the audio via steering wheel
