It's nigh-on impossible to wrap the cluster with vinyl as you would most other items, b/c you can't easily separate the front clear plastic from the black gauge surround. The chrome rings install from the back (passing them through the holes and then snapping them in place) and I assume the CF template franco installed goes in the same way.Originally Posted by MKIVJZA80

Is it possible to upgrade the OS to android 6.0?

you can flash the roms with stuff if you root the device. Just need to back them up in case you brick them. I played around with different launchers a little bit so it is pretty easy to skin and theme if you want to. I thought franco's was running 6.0 already. Mine is.

I haven't driven my car in years, a 98 with no nav, has DSP but I've bypassed it to run aftermarket amps. I'm thinking I should buy this deck now though before they go outta business, discontinued, etc. I just searched eBay with no luck. What do you guys think and where are you buying them?

It's not really that they work with DSP. The mod in the trunk makes it work. The head units just post a stereo signal into the DSP amp just like the old radio and cd player did.

Nope, the radio plug with no nav is a standard radio plug. The guys that need an extension are the ones with nav because the nav has radio in the trunk.

For me nothing everything on the steering wheel works even blue tooth navigation Bluetooth camera and alll apps love them
Unit works fast other than trimming the frame of the OEM bracket u golden
