Grrrr, what is this funky forum software that merges posts. I've been around forums plenty long enough to know when one should be edited and when a new post is in order, but this funky software doesn't think so. How is that better or a good thing? It's a deliberate action that has been programmed in, not by accident, but for the worse, not better. Why and how to prevent it?

U can
Bypass the auto merge
I think....
I hate using my phone instead of a PC, but I asked a question and you have an answer that appears to work. Tip of the hat, thank you.
And a middle finger to whoever designed it.

Yeah and honesty the iPhone app is $hitty, the droid app is OK, but still not what it could / should be...
Thanks, at least now I know how to deal with this BS. Not easily as I'm a keyboard person, not a phone person, but at least I've got options! My fingers fly but I've got thumbs of lead.

It was a throw back from old days when people used to post dozens of posts back to back to artificially pad their post count. I think it'll be about time we can remove it or shorten the time span.
Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by hundreds of engineers that get paid thousands of dollars for something you bought at Pep Boys because your buddy who doesn't have a job told you it was 'better'?!?
Very good, thank you.

Hey guys quick question considering I am new to this page as a member. How do I post a thread? I need help with my 750i and would like to post a thread to receive help. Thanks in advance!
At the top of the page (the list of threads page-- the one before this one) there is a button that says "new thread".
