Wheel Size Question. Help Needed.

Once again I'm looking for a bit of advice. I just found some Original 18" BMW wheels for a Great Price. My 2011 335 xi currently have 17" wheels now. My question is the are staggered wheels. The front Rims are 7.5" and the rear Rims are 8.5". The current rims are 8". Will this make a difference on the car. I'm going with 225 40 18 on the front and 235 40 18 on the rear. Also the car was lowered about one inch. Lastly, what is the Torque for the lug nuts. I was planning on mounting the tires on the rims myself the save money Thanks.

With out inspection, you should be careful since you are going larger on a lowered suspension. Call BMW to see if that wheel was a doable option when it was new. You may still need to put the suspension back to its normal height.

BMW offered a Sport Package or Staggered wheels for my year. My question is will the 1/2 " wheel diameter on the front make a difference. I know the 8.5 on the rear will work because that was an option with 8.0 on the front. The tire size 225 40 18 will work on the front and 235 40 18 on the rear seem to be fine. But 7.5" wide rim on the front is my question. Will that make a bid difference. If this helps the wheels came from a BMW 135. Also what is the lug nut torque wrench setting?

Anyone running 8 1/2" wheels on the front of a E90. I have a 2011 335 XI and I have 8 1/2" on the rear and want to run equal all around. My car has been lowered with H&R Springs. Wheels I'm looking at are 18".
