Can anyone recommend a place that would purchase my vehicle and pay a reasonable price? Runs but needs too many $ of work. Clean title, needs engine and transmission work. Excellent rubber, good body and interior. Please let me know your ideas! Thanks.

Is craigslist in your area free to post?

I've never had a problem selling vehicles in any condition on craigslist. People are always buying/selling and parting out. You get the typical craigslist problems (scammers/no-shows/flaky people) but after a couple weeks I just lower the price and it eventually sells.
