Thanks guys I pretty happy with the way it’s turning out. But not supper happy about the exhaust going under the cross member. But the only way to get it above worth the twin turbos is to join the two 3” into one 4” and go right where the AC compressor is.... but I like the idea of AC lol. Or fender exit lol.

tried pressing these bushings out with the pipe method.... it just ripped the centre out. So burning them out it was.... worked pretty well. Then dropped it off for semi gloss black powder.

Just bled the clutch and reinstalled the modified cross member. Got it powder coated semi gloss. Nothing too exciting

I love this! Nice work. Could you go oval single 4” on the exhaust?

I could. If it ends up rubbing I will change it out. The problem with oval is the bends are only on a horizontal or vertical plane. So if you want to come up at an angle it’s hard to do. With round you can clock it any way you want.

just working on the heater core lines, found a VW at the wrecker that had the same fittings but in 90deg. The straight one was pointing right at my engine. And got my 9” setback shifter.

Shifter fits perfect in there. Nice work on placement. I need to do some work on where mine ends up in my RX-7. When Its in 2,4,6 the shifter is basically touching the trim at the back of the boot. I have a Steeda Tri-ax handle. I think I just need to go with something that jogs back an inch or two then goes straight up instead of at an angle.

How's the project looking in 2021?! Have this beast out on the road yet?

its not going too bad, was out on the road a bit before i put it away for winter in December. Was having some cooling issues added a fan shroud and a 160deg stat, it seems to be helping before it would get to 220deg now it seems to be 190ish.

I'm going to add another muffler in the tunnel to tone it down a bit, the single 4" is a bit much with just one straight thru vibrant muffler.
