Well this build would make most people go broke, pull a second out, or sell organs. Love it. Probably best build on the boards. Well done. Take your time.

Looking good, best of luck with the build man. Let me know if you have any issues with the mounts. There's another guy building a Z car with the same mounts right now, not sure if he's a member here or not but his instagram handle is @neonbucket. I think he had to trim a couple of the bosses off of the transmission housing as well as a bit of the tunnel insulation to get everything to seat fully but that's pretty standard stuff.
Thanks guys, yeah the build is a little over kill. but just slowly collecting the parts so it has not been a big hit. My other car is a 2007 3dr yaris.. so no car payments or anything so i dont mind spending some money on this project.
I'm running the T56 magnum, not too sure how much fire wall massaging i will need to do. but i,m ok with that... gotta make it fit.
Pistons and rods installed. Will be assembling the heads next.

very nice! Do you have a guide you are using for the wiring? I have done an RX-7 and I remember it being pretty minimal in the grand scheme of things.
just bolting things together, should have the motor done within a week

Love engine shots!
amazing.
Yes it is a T56 magnum (don’t know why they call it a T56 it’s really more like a T6060)
Are you installing one in a BMW?
Well. Not the best garage.... but it’s going to have to do the trick

Well its all mounted, everything fit extremely well. one issue, i seemed to have missed the part where the z# shifter hole is way further back than the E36
the shifter pretty much lines up where the airbag computer is

nice progress!
That thing is way back there

Chucks mounts work perfect on the Z3, everything clears perfect. One thing i did not account for and not too much i could of done about it is the T56 Magnum shifter is 4" forward compared to the Fbody T56.... the hole is 8" off from being centered with the most reward T56 Magnum shifter position. Nothing another 500$ cant fix. https://www.sikky.com/product/t56-ma...elocation-kit/
