So you said that they are an $8,000 set of wheels... guessing this is what Rotiform told you.

    But you didn't pay $8,000 ....

    Soooo they're not...

But hey for the sake of arguments, like I said you do you, whatever makes you happy.

I hope the purple 8k but not 8k set of wheels get you a lot of business

    I have a $7500 exhaust system that I didn't pay $7500 for as well. Oh, and a $1350 tune that I didn't pay $1350 for.

Agreed. Although, when I visit In-N-Out and other drive-thru burger joints, I do get people pointing and taking photos of the back of the car while in the drive-thru.

With BIGMACS driving that car...it should have an awesome power to weight ratio.

Long ago, there were track and drift cars built. Many Gumballs were run. 15 years later, we sell copious amounts of performance parts, built some pretty cool project cars, attend occasional 1/2 mile events, and go on Targa Trophy from time to time.

Our current projects include our Mclaren 570s and our Gallardo LP560-4. We've had quite a few legit cars over the years.

Meh, if you wanted a loud color, candy red could work because of the red tails. I don't hate it, I simply don't feel that this shade of purple works that well on silver. IMO it's too pink/magenta, a deeper purple would work much better.

The Armytrix sounds great on your car, would love to hear the car with catless downpipes added.

The video includes the catless downpipes. Full system.

The wheels are dark purple, and medium purple, and magenta, and pink, and every other shade depending on how much light is hitting them and how bright the light is. Truthfully, it's difficult to appreciate them fully without seeing them in person. Pending your monitor settings, the color is brighter or darker and a camera can't pick up the depth of the finish unless the exact right light is on them.

^That's about as good as it gets without seeing them in person.

Per BMW, rotors are good. I just had them checked 2 weeks ago. I'm still under the factory warranty, which covers rotors.

Not sure how many BMW's you've owned under the factory maintenance warranty, but I've never had an issue.

On my '11 M3, I had the front and rear rotors and front and rear pads replaced under warranty.

On the M5, I've had the front and rear pads replaced as well. Sparks plugs have been done twice. Front and rear suspension has been replaced. The only thing I've had to pay for is tires.

Good thing BFc and it's myriads of e36 owners who proclaim that clears, LTW's, and drop are what every car needs aren't the end all, be all of the enthusiast market. Amirite?

they just don't work with the car as a whole.
a big lip in that color...on air...would be much better.
the mixed styles is what's turning people off. there's no theme/congruence between the wheels and the car.

    more to the point.
track wheels can go on a stance car. but stance wheels look out of place on a track car.

New front rotors and pads installed free of charge by BMW as of 2/3. They also tossed in a brake fluid change, wiper blades, and a driver side floor mat for good measure. At this stage, in the last 27k miles, I've gotten enough maintenance work done free of charge to allow the car to only need oil changes and one spark plug change for the next 40k miles.

F10 M5's aren't track cars... Who wants to rally a 4400 lb land yacht around Willow Springs.

Truthfully, it has to be seen in person to be appreciated fully.

i feel like you didn't understand what i wrote.
but the rest of this thread shows that your tendency is to argue and not listen.
so i'm out. good luck with your project going forward.

Yeeeezus. It's fairly laughable how sensitive and oblivious this crowd is. I'm not arguing. There's nothing to argue about. I'm not mad that no one here likes them. I assumed as much before I even posted the thread. Everyone getting all bent. You can all feel free to return to your circle jerk e36 safe space.
