BMW E34 1995 525i Touring restoration

Hi All

Just wanted to share the restoration of my BMW which I bought 21 years ago and 2 engines later still going strong.

this is the 2nd paint job I did through it's life but this time complete restoration with 4 new doors and 2 front wings, new Engine based on 1998 528i, new Limited Slip Differential, new Shocks all round and redone interior which I will share in later post. did some tweeks to the lighting inside with auto dimmer and LED lighting, I also did a BMW Logo Welcome light. I even modified the Business RDS radio for Bluetooth and AUX input. 70% of the parts on the car are as they came from the factory. it has done 207,000 KM (not taking into account the Engine swaps. my Kid Burned the last one when he got his license)

I do however try and keep it as original as possible.

Its simply a beauty. Spotting an e34 thats not poisoned with "tuning" bumpers, ugly ass rims, awful stereo systems and so on is just so rare, its like seeing Willy Wonka riding a unicorn in candyland. I wish my silver bell will look like yours one day. Good luck mate!

Thank you.. it took me 3 years to save up to get this way with a little hard work as well.. I'll be posting the interior soon with all the little mods I did, which really don't intrude the original design. I tried to do as close the the factory specifications as I could.

I'm very proud of it.
