so I bought this aftermarket front bumper because I need more airflow to the intercooler. for some reason the mounting points on my bumper are substantially different. has anyone else ran into this issue? it is advertised to fit 99-2005 e46 4dr and the company insits it is the correct bumper they sent me. the brackets don't match and it seems to be about 2" wider then the stock one.

You need the M Sport Bumper brackets, Part numbers are: 51117895415 and 51117895416
