Part number of stupid grommet where bowden cable meets interior door handle

What is the part number of the grommet that sits in the inner front door release mechanism, right where the cable attaches, on an E34 ('91 USDM M5 in my case)? My grommet exploded when I removed the door card (see below).

The grommet is a probably supposed to be a cloudy white color when new.

Can't find it on realoem anywhere.

    52208238999 (clear)

COULD be this one. I say could because my e32 had two types. One was just a little off and didn't hold the hook in properly. I THINK the other color is black though.

Another part number for front grommet (same diagram number on Realoem) 51211937233 (no pic)

here you can see a pic and where they are installed http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/part...999&series=E34
Had the same problem on my E32, the grommets broke and fell out of place, door lock did not work anymore. On the E32 there are 2 different sizes, check with your VIN

While this is an old thread, I have to prepare to open my door panels as my driver's door won't respond to the key to unlock. I checked Pelican Parts and the white grommets are $2.77@ and the black are $1.00@. Whaddaya gonna do? But it needs to be fixed. Also along with that order, I may as well buy a whole new set of the door clips as I am sure I will break a few.

Bought them in bulk as often needed for me and wrenching buddies, have both versions here and just measured them for you
................................total length......upper part dia....lower part dia
    black 51211937233.......5.3mm...............9.8mm....... .........6.9mm
    white 52208238999.......6.3mm...............9.6mm....... .........7.0mm

Once we only had the white ones here on stock and also used them in the places where actually the black ones go, also worked.
