    ET30 offset on 8.5 wheel e36 fit q

will 235/4/17 on 17x8.5 ET30 fit non-M e36 stock (convertible so rear sits little lower). will slight fender rolling be enough?

Thank you Dmitry, very helpful table on that website. But I can't seem to locate what is the overall distance between mounting pad and the fender on non-M e36?

    so...... assuming e36 factory clearance on 7.5"x17 wheel with ET41 offset to the fender is just 2". This implies wheel width: 7.5" * 2.5 * 10 = 190mm plus fender gap: 2" x 2.5 x 10 = 50mm minus the 40mm offset = 200mm total space to play with

so for 8.5" wheel with ET30 =>>> 8.5 * 2.5 * 10 = 215mm minus 30 offset = 185mm so I have enough space? to the bigger wheel fits in that fender just fine?!! assumming that the tire doesn't out much wider than 8.5"?

is my logic correct? I am assuming this is not an issue on the front fender since the wheel wells are much bigger than rear?

It will rub slightly, most guys on this page are running a 215/40 to avoid rubbing or fender rolling.

You can also run more negative camber and roll the fender lips. I would think that is much better than running stretched tires on the 8.5" wheels. The best tire size is 225/40R18.
If I can help let me know.
