Looking to joing the BMW Family for the first time

Have been a long time fan but never pulled the trigger. Have an opportunity to pick up a 2006 525i with sports package with 41K miles. Perfect maintenance history and owner is asking 12K firm. Wanted to get your thoughts and some next steps as I prepare to go look at it. From everything I have seen in the video it is cherry, but the color is black.

Welcome to the forum! The most important thing to do is a PPI report - make sure to take it to a trusted BMW shop. I've also attached a DIY tech article in case you get the car and will be working on it. Best of luck!
