    ABS wiring help

It doesn't look like I am getting much traction in the E36 section so I am cross posting here.

My ABS light is now on after thinning the wiring harness in my track car.

Car is a 1993 with no ASC, and had CCM before removal.

ABS pump and pedal travel sensor have been re-soldered and tested good. Wheel speed sensors are also new.

I have confirmed all necessary wiring is in place per the ETM, here is a picture for my year https://i.imgur.com/p7n1DMI.jpg along with the pin-outs for my ABS computer https://i.imgur.com/so6Bcyr.jpg and https://i.imgur.com/6GTJ93q.jpg

With the key turned to position 3, I see voltage at pins 23 (RxD diagnostic data link), 34 (ABS Relay Control), 52 (ABS Warning lamp control), and 53 (Voltage Supply terminal 15).

Should I be seeing voltage in any other pins, like 15 (ABS Pump motor relay control)? Is there something I removed that is causing a fault, like the CCM? The wiring diagram seems to only show the brake light switch as being significant to the ABS system. EWS shouldn't be an issue since the car starts, no?

Please let me know if I am overlooking something

Do you have the basic wiring diagram or schematic for the ABS system? I'm trying to get my track car straightened out, too. When I took off the battery tray, one of the wires though the firewall was just sitting there bare. Thank you! Billy

    I used this: https://www.bmwtechinfo.com/etm/data/e36/e36_95.pdf

    Along with this: http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=341672

    To diagnose mine.

There are a few ohm checks to do to ensure the wiring is go to the ABS sensors and the forum post walks you through that. That was the issue with mine.

The above forum post is missing pics and is for another car, but you can figure it out with the wiring diagram from bmwtechinfo. Hope it helps.
