    BMW Bolts

I'm pretty new to maintaining and doing DIYs on my car, forgive me if this is a stupid question.

I am looking into replacing my guibo soon, and the guide on pelican parts reccomended using a new set of bolts and self locking nuts, my question is do I have to always buy the BMW brand of bolts or will regular bolts and nuts from the hardware shop do?

You don't need to buy the Genuine BMW part, but make sure that when you do a search, the part number matches up to the other brand of the bolt.

    Cool

No you dont. I recently bought 10 Guibo Bolts for $1.20 each/free shipping,,BMW Brand $6-$9 each,, Same hardness 10.9 Grade and zinc plated-a Bonus, same pitch 1.50MM and Same Length.. Good quality is same as BMW quality.

You should check with your local dealer for these bits and pieces. Pelican parts is insanely expensive on bolts, clips etc
Buy my native installed ISIS ISTA-D/ISTA-P bmw diagnostic laptop. More Info Here!
