    2013 Activehybrid 7

I have the opportunity to buy a 2013 Activehybrid 7 with 25k miles for $35k. I would like the insight as to why this may or may not work for me. The car will be CPO's by BMW for an additional 4500. So all said and done a 25k mile activehybrid for 40k.

I was looking to buy the diesel 7 but they are rare and still way more expensive. And the 740Li although just 5% off in efficiency is actually more expensive.

    Any comments. Insights?

I don't want to speak to soon, but that seems like a good deal to me (just comparing pricing to other cpo bmws like the 5 series). Make sure to get a full PPI report from a non-bias BMW mechanic. I'm assuming it's a clean title with no reported issues? Let us know how it goes.

hi, I have a 740d (UK Spec) and also have the 'rectangle' headlights. They are in fact the Adaptive LED versions and are without doubt.... AWESOME. When in Adaptive Full Beam setting they 'adapt' the full beam in such a way that it looks like you've got two men sat on the bonnet (hood), each with indepeneant torches, waving them around to make sure they don't dazzle oncoming traffic or the car you're following. It's a weird experience but they work a treat. They also look super cool, and are the badge of honour on the options list ! Anyone in the know, knows that these babies cost upwards of $4000 extra in the showroom, so they're like bling for your car, as well as being very useful down unlit country roads.

    Update:
    Bought the car yesterday.
    24.8k miles.
    34k price.
Still in factory warranty for 6 more months.

Man I love this car. the freakin thing went full electric for a good 2-2.5 miles when I came off the freeway into the industrial complex.
