I took the cover off my e36 track car just to start it up for the first time in a while (it usually sits in the winter). While I was at it, I decided to grab some footage of the glorious exhaust note and thought I would share The car has an aFe intake, TMS chip, TMS shorty headers, high flow cat, and Bimmerworld race exhaust with mid-pipe.
Anyone else have a similar setup or other nice sounding BMW's?

idle sounds smooth, revs sound a little too ricey for my taste
my current M3 on cold start (ignore the title, it's an LS, just thought it sounded like a rotary on cold start lol)
old M3 with straight pipes (kind of a love hate sound for most)

Yea, I'm not too fond of the raspy tin-can sound at higher revs. Seems to be pretty common for this exhaust setup.
I am totally jealous of your LS equipped M3 :o Sounds awesome! That is next on my project bucket list, swapping an LS into my e36.
What engine did you go with if you don't mind me asking? (ie: car, year, etc)

Thanks man it's a lot of fun for sure.
Its an LS from an 02 WS6 that only had 30k miles which I later found out it's technically an LS6 block (some WS6's receieved LS1 blocks some LS6) can check by serial #
Trans is a t56 from an 05 GTO, car has an LS7 clutch flywheel, longtubes, cam and tune. So basically cam only.
