In posts 36-42 there is discussion of dual tune in obd2 ECU, no standalone required.
Does MS PNP not play well with flex fuel sensors?
And how would it switch on the fly? Or are you talking about manually switching maps? Everytime I've seen that, where being on the wrong map can smoke an engine, it tends to happen sooner or later.
It does basic flex fuel calculations for injector pulsewidth, but you quickly run out of flexibility beyond that for it being really safe (not enough inputs/outputs, or map switching flexibility). Plus the knock control of a MS2 based MS PNP is beyond horrid - I would totally not trust an 800 rwhp engine on that knock control. I haven't used the MS PNP Pro.
No idea; ask busterhax. I run 93 pump plus meth and think I might do 750 rwhp. Will dyno in the spring. Nearest E85 is 75 miles away so that is not an option and I don’t want to it barrels of fancy E85.
I m in the same boat right now aiming for 750-800 whp
And I have no E85 available in my whole country 😭
So was looking if Meth inj would get me there by any mean ?
May be direct port ?
What is the octane of your fuel?
95 oct
I think its similar to your 93
You would want to know exactly. Europe uses RON. USA averages RON and MON. Don’t know about Egypt. The more dependent on meth you are, the riskier it is. Must secondary injection systems are not the same quality as factory. I run direct port meth (1 nozzle in each runner plus 1 more before the TB) and think I did a good job but ideally I would have done better with piping or braided line and screw on fitting rather than plastic line and compression fittings. If you are going to be dependent on meth you might want a stand-alone with flow sensors and fail safes.
95 RON is closer to our 91 AKI pump gas. Our 93 AKI is more like 98 RON.
95 RON is going to be a challenge on a really high boost setup.
