Finally got around to fixing my janky front bumper. It was riddled with Rock Chips, had a crack on the bottom and a little broken connecting to the fender liner. While I was there I was so happy with how the rear tail lights cleared up when I did the Slyvania headlight restore I decided to do it to the headlights as well. I need to get new fogs, I bought some aftermarket ones but they didnt fit so back they go.

Well non E38 but polished my lights again.
Now on the E39, the inner tail lights (the one on the tailgate)
They were very faded, and the right one didnt work, the BMW Celis, burned out, and parking light led was very dim, got today from parts car.
One photo is like, the one I took from internet, but my were even worse.
And how it turned out, took me about 20minutes.

Today I changed the hoses for the windshield washer yet. Putting the car up for sale so it needed to be done.

Replaced the rubber trim around the top edge of the windshield. This was replaced about 4 yrs ago but with the temps around here, rubber does not last long. And Yes, the roof paint is failing, so is the trunk paint. I have an estimate for it, just waiting until after I paint the e34 that's almost complete rebuild.

Kouks I have almost the exact same miles on my car. What's up with the tamper dot? I had that pop up on mine one morning, but it went away next time I started the car.

Hit the 200,000 mile mark yesterday. I purchased the car in 2007 with 52,000 miles. Since then I've experienced the highs and lows that most of us gone through and have a file bigger than your head filled with receipts for repairs and maintenance over the last 10 years.

I looked at my E38 sitting in the rain in the driveway, had a cup of coffee and drove the shit out of her to work, 25 miles in 20 minutes...

Went to Pacific Raceway for a track day with ProFormance Racing. Everyone including myself was impressed how fast the car was for a big sedan. The high point of my ownership for sure. My baby will get a bath tomorrow.

Started changing the suspension. Got front end done today, gotta do the rear later.
Looking good so far.
Now added 12mm spacers to front also. So now running 8,5x19 ET8 and 9,5x19 ET8 with 245/45 tires.
