At first I was skeptical about those lights in that bumper, but I'm genuinely impressed how good that turned out! Nice work Max, setting a good example for the rest of our users
I haven't really driven my 7 more than a couple of hours worth in the last 2 months... My brother gave me his Ford Falcon that was in bad shape and not running, so I spent a few sundays fixing it up and now it's by far the best run around car I've ever had. Just get in and go, it's on LPG so very cheap to run, great mileage, cold air, and a fabric interior that just won't die. I love it lol. Plus it's summer here and the heat and UV are through the roof, so I refuse to put my 7 out in that and ruin the paint and plastics... I just drive it a bit on cool evenings or if there's a bit of rain. That being said, work is going well and there's some good money in the bank so I'm getting some goodies - I just installed new tail lights FINALLY (although one arrived with a little piece broken off, I seriously have a tail light curse - my car started with busted oem tails, I bought some mint second hand 2000 ambers that arrived damaged in the post, and now these ones got damaged too, I give up). I've also ordered black floor mats and a set of fasteners, and I spoke to my exhaust guy who is going to help me finish off the stock muffler mod I started like 2 years ago... Finally!! Doing that on thursday, can't wait. These are the new tails now, I debated clear or smoked but since my front and side indicators are already smoked, I wanted to follow that theme, and the charcoal/black and grey mix is so good on these cars
Also it's been like a year since I hooked up the bluetooth module but never got around to getting it all working. Guess that won't be happening now anyway;
I'll definitely be looking into one of those Joying or Seicane head units, I'll miss the honestly beautiful mk4 interface that suits these cars so well, but I'm just over trying to retrofit this nonsense.

Sobek, where did you source your mats from? Are they genuine BMW RHD?
I'm taking a change with these ones;

They're cheap enough, the material looks good and the stitching is nice, and these guys seem reputable. I figure why not... I also bought their clips and fastener set so all up it's around $100 for the mats and clips, I can't really pass that up. My OEM mats are basically perfect, but I want black. One thing that's really pissed me off though, my drivers side OEM mat, underneath the rubbery grippy surface has kinda like, melted, and now all the carpet under my drivers floor mat is gummed to hell with this black tar like mess. I was so upset when I lifted it out and found that, what a load of nonsense. I don't think these new mats have any special material underneath and just rely on the fasteners, so I'm totally fine with that!
I'll definitely let you know what I think about them when they arrive
Got my new wheels off the parts car I had balanced and put on. Been looking for a clean set of Mpars for a while.
Out with old, it started falling apart as a dust
in with new
