Yeah, original forecast of 6-12" of snow here is down to 3-5". It's not even spring yet although it is supposed to be.

I screwed up again - years ago I use Gloss House wax and it turned white on the belt moldings, could not get off so I bought all new ones. I switched to Zaino - no problems with that product and white residue. I just waxed Darth again, first time in 4 years and I used MeGuiars and several others this time. One of them left some white residue on the moldings again that I can't get off - anyone have any ideas? Short of painting..... I am not going to get new again - the prices have gone up to high!

Those aren't the problem, they are slick metal. My problem are the bottom ones, the ones with the blue tape on them here...

When I detail cars and I get abundance of residue from wax, I use 91% isopropyl alcohol to wipe off the access. Same goes between m205/m105 polishing process.
Since moldings are porous plastic, I would get a soft bristle brush and gently brush the area that was affected by the wax with isopropyl alcohol to get it all off.
Also mothers makes nice trim restorer stuff for upkeep of moldings. I haven't had too much luck restoring the fainted moldings with their product, but it does provide a nice upkeep for plastic, especially in Arizona sun.

These are the products used so far...1st 4 bottles.

    Meguiars #105 Ultra Cut Compound
    " # 9 Swirl Remover
    " # 21 Synthetic Sealant 2.0
Pinnacle Natural Brillance Liquid Souveran (carnnuba)

I found out that Barret Jackson Wax works very well on the Xpel coated front end. Tried the front fender and it worked very well!

Got quoted $770 for trans flush and filter change at my local reputable indy. I take back my previous statement, definitely gonna suffer through the DIY on this one on jacks in my driveway.

Holy crap that is highway robbery! Job would barely take an hour with the car up on a lift.

It's not that bad to do laying on your back though.

    Yea it was it.
Also all small bolts were a tiny bit loose, and the upper small bolt was completely loose, tightened them all.
