Ugh, did the passenger rear window regulator today. Doesn't look like it had ever been apart, though, so it was pretty clean in there.

I called the dealer, couldn't tell if they priced me a down payment on a new car or some weather strips.

I replaced a C pillar piece several weeks ago. In Dec '15 the passenger side was 107.00 this year the drivers side was 351.00. I found a piece in stock at ECS for 251.00, ordered and then later the price had jumped to over 300.00.

I will bet the play is in the box itself not the column, not much there for play to occur.

It definetly feels to be in the lower joint, friend of mine moved the wheel back and forth and the play was in the joint.

Of course it might be in the box also, but feels like its in the joint.

Just arrived on Saturday - yesterday was first wash, replaced the smoked corners with ambers, and started a window regulator replacement.

Thanks. Yep, personal preference thing on the corners. I like ambers but I know lots of folks don't. I have the smoked ones in very nice condition that I'll probably sell.

so, I'm doing my timing chain tensioner tomorrow, and just to clarify. It comes compressed and that's the way I should put it in since it'd be easier to handle? or uncompressed?

Replace number 7 also, mine was causing a knocking sound when you rocked the steering wheel back and forth.

Walked out to my car after work one night this week to find someone had done this. Not happy, it seems like it's one step forward 2 steps back with this car since I have owned it. I haven't got on top of any of the problems that were existing and other things just keep going wrong.
