If he decided to put a 740il interior into his 750 and do the same thing with the rear end, I highly doubt that he’s joking about doing that.
    Questionable decisions ...

The good parts of the 750 interior are getting redyed XD more carpet and leather from the seats, etc. And it's being towed, not driving it w/out brakes, just need to get it to the scrap yard in case that was unclear. I'll probs make up some sort of bushing, just need to get it there.

I didn't think it would be a good idea. I'll probably toss the rear subframe in and tow it that way to be safe, as much as I don't want to send that to the scrap yard

Finally drove mine after a couple weeks driving the X3 and my son's E36. Boy is the E38 a comfortable ride.

New trunk support shocks. I didn't realize how weak my old ones were. They were holding the trunk open at the full-open position, but offered no assistance anywhere but there. The new ones allow for a nearly unassisted rise to full-open, and offer a lot of resistance on the way down, to prevent slamming against the soft-close mechanism.

...Managed to change the engine breather", unfortunately it wasn't me who's done it(as suggested on another topic), but got a good quote for half the price without compromising the quality of labour, also didn't took 2 days as my "pal" suggested, idles much nicer now.

On the back of the intake? If so thats like 2 or 3 hours and you should do the intake gaskets while in there...

Yes, that's the one, took him just under 3 hours and the part came with a gasket, my previous quote for 2 days labour, was to remove the intake and change oil separator, pipe, the lot. Time will tell, I wish there would be more e38 owners in the UK and we could get together and fix" each other cars like you guys meet all the time and testimony are some extremely nice builds threads.

Went to local Pick n Pull this morning. Found a non warped driver side panel under the steering column and a perfect left quarter glass sun shade! Also got 2 inserts that go in the console under the 2 lids, Mine had broken tabs so they just laid there.

Crossed paths with an e38 in my e39 and man did that thing pop. After ~17 years it's still the boss! Both models have aged well imo and one day I would like to add e38 to my line up. Enjoy your rides.

I still had yet to post a picture of the car with my Breytons on, so here we go. Also found a self serve wash near the gf's college that's very reasonable ($2.50/ 8 minutes, much cheaper than near me) which will be very nice over winter.
It's noticeably slower though, a combination of me running 87 because of how many miles a put on, and Breytons are ridiculously heavy, especially when you have run-flats in the rear
