The buyer for my '01 sporty shorty backed out of the deal. So I listed it on Craigslist and would like feedback if my price is too optimistic. I don't think so for all the engine work that's been done, new tires and new headliner to name a few.

That's how much the seller was asking for mine 2 years ago, in the same color and same condition. I bought it for $7500, after he had had it for sale for a month.
I think it's a fair asking price, but you're probably not going to get the full amount. I hope you do, though, just to show how strong the market is for the last year shorty sporty.

Dropping price to $7500 as it has to go before I leave for Europe in 10 days.
I wouldn't be afraid to drive this car anywhere so don't back off from flying to Portland and taking a nice summer road trip home.
You'll also love Portland so bring the family too!

It's amazing to buy a $3500 car, dump $10k into it, and you end up with a $3500 car. $9500 is a pretty tough sell, but I'll be someone would give him $7500. Which, all things considered, probably wouldn't be that bad a deal. I have way more than that in my car and it's not nearly as nice (the aformentioned $3500+$10k dealio).
Could use pictures that tell the story more than the art shots do though.

That daytona euro M5 is on BAT now. Super sketchy though. Listed as dealer on eBay etc but private party on BAT. No receipts or photos for paint or engine work, lower grey trim doesn't look to have been painted and the engine bay looks terrible. But man do I love a Daytona E34 M5!!!
Edit: The guy says lower trim was left alone because paint was unable to be sourced at the time. BS!!! It's mixed at the paint store. So they had no grey, white, black, silver, etc etc to make that grey?! And he says he bought it from the dealer. So he bought it a month ago and is selling it on BAT but can't bother to take new and better photos?

That's the great thing.
I'd take the risk for 12 grand or so, sketch car is sketch. But BAT thinks with their wallet so it'll make it to the 40s no problem.
