Posted it before, along with a couple of photoshops of it with M parallels and standard headlights. Would look good with those two items. I LOVE the color.

There used to be one like this in CA - similar color but he just had the car resprayed with a clear coat with the metallic included. It turned out OK. I would be hesitant for one reason only - harder than hell to repair. Would almost always be a complete respray, no patching or blending as any additional would result in darker areas instead.

That guy was a friend Fabian's - he may have moved back to Germany.

One of my specialties at the custom bodyshop I owned was matching custom paint. Doesn't scare me anymore. I've had to match so much stuff that no one had paint codes for... Even supposedly simple stuff like matching a damaged '31 Ford street rod sprayed with "Corvette yellow." Never mind that Chevy had 37 different yellows on Corvettes over the years... Pearls and Candies tend to be matched by eye, as the amount that comes out of the paint gun will change the color anyhow, so it's no different than spraying it originally and making it even.
