Wow man, that's one hell of a clean example, look great.
Lights looks good to, except (imho) one stripe on the dashboard would be better, otherwise it looks to Christmas-ish
do you have any diy thread here on bf about that stripe lights?

Hy,
Thanks a lot 3Shanecarmaster1", for postings pics, and, that's what i said ....:
Amazing car !!!
I think never having see a so clean E38 before ...!! whereas you look at your's , body, seat, and so on.... it is perfect, no scratch, no litle paint dent....
Congrats !!
I particulary appréciate your body color, very rare it seem's, and your wheel placement in the fender, due to the whell offset... just perfect !!
( do you use spacer ?!)
Finally, A very smart , elegant-looking car, with just a litle of sporty and agressivity ....
Congrats !!
( What is more original, is that, according to me, the pics of your front body , seems really looks as your car were a pre facelift one...
It's really what i was thinking before you answer me that's the product year was 2001...)
" A BMW don't ageing at all, it devellops her caracteristic patina!"
Thank you so much for the compliments... I try really hard.
The lights seemed impossible at first, but tapping into the dimmer switch lighting (for the dashboard and center console wrap) was the trick. For the doors, you simply tap into the illumination of the interior lighted door handles. The crowning moment is that the EL lights all work with the dimmer! They look bright and overdone in pics, but in person, they're amazing and perfect brightness.
Thank you! The color is Anthracite Metallic. The rare part is the black interior because many came with gray.
I DO have wheel spacers, which are great for M Parallels. They're 20 MM in the rear, 15 MM in the front. I wouldn't change them. I may try a 255 MM tire in the front next time. I already upgraded to 275 MM in the rear instead of factory sizes.
Nice diesel sport ! ^

Here is a new pic of my car. 19's on now.
Lets get the party started before it's my bedtime.
Thanks. Interesting in what way? I put some new hub rings on today and it drove great. Dont ever buy plastic rings, they are junk. It's nice to have a car that needs nothing, and now drives straight down the road. I just need to lower it and that is my next project. I got accepted into the Carmel Automobilia in 2 weeks, so we'll see how that goes.

Hi All,
I've been watching this forum for years, but never commented because I didn't have a 7. I have a tonnes of admiration and respect for you guys, given the time you have put in, and don't want to waste anyone's time. I guess I'm just wondering if you want any newcomers lol. If yes, great, if not no problem, congrats on your great cars!!

Duh, forgot to get to the point: after a 5 year search, and saving money, I finally acquired a 7. I would love to share it and get advice, if welcome.
Hey thanks for the welcome. Yes - I guess I do have to change my username lol
Ok I will create an account somewhere and try to post some. Hey, I'm new to this posting thing - when it says the forum is parked, does that mean it's no longer active?
