Keep them as for now, you need to protect fresh paint from road debris flying from wheels

It is a little late for you Franco but the flaps might look a little better had you sanded them smooth before painting. I ran into this with my Avalanche but like the rear sail panels as they are called I used prep sol as a lubricant to wet sand the plastic smooth. Then painted as normal for plastic. I did the same thing on the sail panels when I did those back in 2007 after buying the Avalanche new. After seeing the older models and the look of these as they faded from black to various shades of grey I knew I didn't want my that way. I also like the way the Caddie Escalade AST looked painted body color. I found out it was a lot of work in that case because of all the odd shapes - would not do it again but I do like the results...

I did the same on the flaps sanding off the Chevy bowtie emblems and the texture to a smooth finish...

That is a twin engine - one V8 and a V12 in reserve if needed!!!

The V12 was given to me - I stored for about a year then I gave it to Al Hefner at BMP Designs here in Tyler. He is going to use as a manikin for accessories in his showroom here. It was a good 120K miles engine that was just too good to tear apart and use for a coffee table and my wife said no way it's coming in my house.
