Vollosso lives his life 1/4 mile at a time.
My 2017 FI goals:
-get the 6465 and S52 up and running and put 5k miles on it.
-dont kill my self in those 5k miles, and try to not break stuff.
-get to a dyno
-get to the drag strip for a few gentle runs down the 1/4 just to see. Dont break stuff (Drag strip is 15mins from my house)
-pour concrete floor in my garage and install a lift. Ive had access to a lift when ever i needed ever since ive had a license. Crawling around on the ground on a dirt floor, car on blocks, humping rear control arms caveman style.... im getting too old for that.
-get myself a Truck, before prices go up
"**if you suck at driving, it certainly could put you into a curb. Don't suck."
I really don't have goals per say, it's more like decisions..
1. Remove the current stock M30 and replace with built one sitting on the engine stand..?
2. Or continue on with the stock engine and try for 8sec..?
Happy New Year..!!

Too offensive?
Ironic?
OnTopic
I had to replace the failed UNwelded WG pipes,
so while they were out I bumped the twin WG's from 14.5# to 17 lbs (gauge is showing 19psi solid)

2017 Goals
1. Finally drive my baby again and take it for long cruises and late night fun times into Boston on weekends to play with Porsches and GTRs and ferarris in the tunnels
2. Get it dialed in on the current setup once complete and get it on a dyno to see what I can put down spraying meth as well.
3. Redo the rear end with all the akg bushings I ordered and the reinforcement plates.
4. Install CAE shifter and have a fucking blast with that.
5. Pull out cage and get it powder-coated white and redo my interior to make it as clean and oem looking as possible with a bunch of new alcantara pieces to match my wheel.
6. Bust as much ass, in as many locations that I can on and off tracks
7. To finish off 2017 I would like to get body work done on the car. fix some rust, widen the rear 1/4 panels a bit and repaint the car.
A TIG welder should come with the purchase of a turbo IMHO
I had the forward section shortened by cutting out the tube and had a thicker wall tube installed. The driveshaft held up pretty good except for the Guibo lugs twisted and cracked. I found it before failure luckily.

I love this Lincoln Square Wave 200 tig. For $1400, its gold.
Miller 180 diversion would be nice as well. But more $$.

TheJuggernaut has been a very bad influence, hoping to pick up a TIG this year and start learning, especially now that I got some shop space I can set up a proper work bench/welding area
I'll post up pictures of the new Steed and 9180 install in the Steed install thread for sure (unlike some other Steed/9180 people, ahem). I may put some stuff in the 'Saturday's FI Solutions' thread if I do something crafty.
I know I'm being optimistic for my 2017 list but set the goals high, right?
