Its time again for our F/I goals for the next year. The Trump era 2017.

So, new year, new goals.

My start will be much simpler as last year, I think I bit off more than I can chew, as well as sat on my ass.

Butters 2017 goals.

0. Drive Phil's car in the spring when traction is abundant, see what this EFR hype is all about. Cab we really have a 1000 HP turbo hit like a 35r ? Seems like the old wise one, Pbonsalb has figured out the recipe to make a cake, and munch on it.

1. I'd like to have a piece of paper that shows 700whp on 93+meth. Shouldn't be a problem if I get off my ass and hit a dyno.

2. I'd like to more than 50% of my runs in the 10 second club
Putting a stick car on drag radials that weighs 3600#'s is tougher to pilot into the 10's than I thought. But, Ive done it so no excuse.

3. Most importantly make the car great again. I want to enjoy the car more.

4. Learn this megasquirt business, understand it, conquer it.

So, let'r rip peoples.

Also, don't get popped for DWI tonight and ruin your driving for 2017.

Carry stock bottom end s50 to 11s



Get the new steedspeed build bottom end and aim for 650 whp

I did this only not with a stock bottom end. A quick 35psi spike made sure pistons n rods needed to be upgraded. Got 11.8 on 1/4

1 dss
Bigger turbo n manifold. Get to low 11s or high 10 sec pass

2017 goals:

1. Rebuild the M30B35 for turbo
2. Turbo the M30B35
3. 500whp peak on a borg warner s362sxe with only ARP headstuds and an .140MLS on 92/93 pump gas without meth or E85 and have dyno sheet to prove it.
4. Go to BMW meet i.e. Bimmerfest or similar
5. Paint the 535i U94/2 Fire Orange
6. Sub 12 second 1/4 mile at 3,450lbs
7. Sell the AC Schnitzer e34 frame or use it somehow

1. Drive it on the new trans/rear end setup.
1a. Get a 16" track wheel setup.

2. Make 700+whp on e85

3. Make a 11.50 or faster pass before getting kicked out/breaking an axle (have never made a pass in this car)

4. Trap 135+ before getting kicked out/breaking an axle

5. Enjoy the car as much or more than last year since I'll have ac again.

-fit a ford 8.8 in the back with 3.00-ish gears.

2. AN cooling system with custom rad support and a C&R rad
3. AN power steering
4. Hood
5. Drive it around MoSport with jam

2) Tear out diff and subframe, inspect for damage, change oil seals in diff, install subframe with new poly bushings.

3) Remove DSS drive shaft and install stock reinforced drive shaft to make the car more enjoyable to drive.

4) Replace worn UUC feramic twin disc.

5) Remove the Steed 1.0 and GTX35R and install a Steed 2.0 and EFR 9180 and associated piping.

6) Install aluminum doors and carbon fiber hood and have car painted.

7) Make aluminum honeycomb sub box.

8.) Hook up the ethanol sensor to the OBC now that the code has been written for it.

9) Install water cooling for the front brakes.

10) Do more track days this year!

I have a Family list that takes priority, but below is my list for Car stuff:

1. New race trailer for 330i
2. Install a lift in the shop
3. Tig Welder (Buy one and learn to use it)
4. Convert 330i to Manual Transmission
5. Install Steed Speed TS manifold, and new Turbo
6. Tune the 330i on the dyno
7. Get rid of the damn gas smell inside the car while driving
8. Run 11s at the drag strip
