I haven't listed on this site in a while but just came back to list some wheels I have for sale. I won't even bother after trying to get the Panjo app to work. Keeps crashing Chrome here. I don't know if this interface is targeted at clueless people who only access the internet on a cell phone and don't know how to post pictures on a forum or what, but I can't believe there is no regular option to make forum classifieds posts. Good luck w/ what remains of the classifieds on this board. RIP.

I've resorted to ebay and craiglist due to Panjo, can't sell on BF anymore. 75% of the time, my ads don't even show up here when posted on Panjo.
Just checking in, Panjo is still making what should be a simple process overly complicated and killing the classifieds. Can we have the option to bypass it yet, let it stand on its own merits if it is truly wanted by the community. I have stuff I would like to sell but no desire at all to deal with the headache that is panjo.

I think this is key. What features people say they like or don't like is one thing, but the bottom line is that prior to Panjo if I was in the market for a car or particular part, it used to be worth my while to check the appropriate classified forums daily. Now, not so much! That's my qualitative take on it, but with access to the statistics it should be abundantly clear that Panjo has had a sharp chilling effect on the number of listings and traffic.
Guys, check out this new subforum....

Half assed attempt at best, and that disclaimer...give me a break. 1 subforum with no organization is not what people asked for. Yay, now I get to scroll through listings of interior trim pieces when I'm looking for a motor. Replicate or allow posting to the entire classifieds section, without Panjo involvement. That's the ONLY thing anyone has asked for. No more tweaks based on "user feedback".
My hope is that Kevlar has gone silent and disregarded his earlier commitment on the advice of legal counsel as they undo whatever contract is in place with Panjo. Failing that, the classifieds are dead.
What a cop out, it's set up to fail so they can say "see we gave you classifieds without panjo and it didn't work". No one asked for a free for all with no organization, we asked for the same organized classified sections just without having to run through a third party.

When the classifieds get move movement... they will be subdivided. Besides, this is only a classified system to start your threads without Panjo. The threads within the classified section will work just as they do with or without Panjo. So not really seeing the problem other than complaining just to complain.
Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by hundreds of engineers that get paid thousands of dollars for something you bought at Pep Boys because your buddy who doesn't have a job told you it was 'better'?!?
You're not really that dense right? The classifieds only have any movement at all because of what they were before Panjo. How about this, give Panjo the single sub-forum and then divide that one once enough people use Panjo to justify it. At least call it what it is - you have some vested interest in Panjo and aren't concerned with the users experience...
I'll humor you - you say the threads within the classified section work exactly as they did before Panjo. Since you know something I don't, please show me exactly how to post a thread in the existing classifieds section without using panjo and without using the one hidden subforum.
What I was saying is that after Panjo creates the thread in the area of interest, the thread operates just like every other thread. It's searchable, people can respond to it and the conversation that happens happens like every other part of the community. Panjo only takes over the thread creation part to hand hold people who have problems posting classified items for sale. Ths subforum is for people who don't want to post their item using the Panjo interface. The threads will get moved back into the regular classifieds into their appropriate areas. It is there just so you don't have to use the interface. I was working with the Panjo community to make a "skip" button for Panjo, but then realize why am i going to tie up their development cycles when a separate starting forum to bypass their interface would be easier.
You get to bypass the Panjo interface, they don't lose any development cycles and the threads are where they need to be for other people to find them.

Ok now what's going on... I tried to log in on a brand new computer yesterday and inadvertently hit the log in /link Google account button and now I'm receiving daily ad mails on both my home (original) email address as well as my Gmail account. I see no way to unlink the two or even just have control of what email preferences affect which address. I don't mind having my Google account linked (for whatever purpose that might serve I don't know) but I do want clear dashboard controls in Panjo to make sense of it all. I'm going to explore (aka get completely lost in) Google's settings pages and see if I can't find a way to block Panjo ads on that account (or unlink if I have to).

I just tried to list an airbox for sale. I guess it's on panjo, but I can't see it inside the "Engines / performance" sell board?
At least put a sticky "How Too" at the top of the board. (why do I need YET ANOTHER ACCOUNT to sell stuff?)
