    Hi,
    To clarify:
    1. from BMW fuel tank to input of the regulator, you said Dorman 800-120 (5/16 in) and Dorman 800-121 (3/8 in). So the input has 2 different sizes?

    2. What do I do with the stock fuel filter? can it be used or should I get rid of it?

    3. I am going to buy about 15 or 20 ft of the 6AN PTFE braided fuel line. About 10ft should be good from the fuel regulator to the engine. The rest I am going to use for the power steering. Does any one have the part numbers for the power steering hose ends? I don't think they are listed in Bimerok's posts.

    4. I am going to order Spectre CAI 9908, this should work.

Thanks for all your input. Just waiting on the Vorsh headers, 4 channel brake lines (98 M3) and relocation bracket. Then I will have to get the driveshaft.

Yes. 3/8" is the SUPPLY from the tank. 5/16" is the RETURN to tank.

Make sure whatever line you are using for power steering has an adequate pressure rating (for the high-pressure side) such as Russell Powerflex, among others. Bimerok put some power steering info in this post. Another option for a power steering cooler is to get a factory E36 auto trans cooler. It will bolt in place and can be repurposed as a power steering cooler.

Yes I would only use that 2500psi capable steel braided hose w/ PTFE.
Yes I checked that link posted by Bimerok. He seems to have a 90 degree fitting and a 30 degree?
    I know he used http://www.hrpworld.com/store/defaul...m16-x-1-5.html
Which is possibly connected to #2 fitting below.

I was looking at the Vorshlag pictures:

They seem to use a 120 degree fitting for #2.
Does anyone know the part numbers?
Intercooler end fitting thats welded on? #1
Hose 1: has 2 fittings, #2 and #3 (both #2 and #3 seem to have an additional fitting)
    Hose 2: has 2 fittings #4 and # 5

Anyone has the exact part#s to #s 1-5?

For CAI, I am planning on getting Spectre 9908.
    Does anyone have any suggestions?

I see some custom made intakes, some going into the drivers side, others going into the passengers side.

I ordered the Russel 6AN hose
    http://www.jegs.com/i/Russell/799/632640/10002/-1
    And this fitting:
    http://www.jegs.com/i/Russell/799/610023/10002/-1

    instead of the
    Summit
    https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-250690b

I read in the reviews that summit fitting 250690b can be used only with a summit hose 6AN.
If you look the in/out diameter of the 6AN hoses are different in Summit vs Russel. The Russel is slightly larger.

Thank You all for your help.

    Gents,
Its been 8 months since I dropped off my M3 w/ Randy Forbes. I am going mad not being able to drive her for that long, but glad she will be well taken care off. Randy has been busy and just started. Here's the link to his album:

Who is Randy Forbes? Maybe I'm just a Luddite as I also have no idea who "Peter & Trevor" are in RVAE34's build thread.

    I am using this:
    http://www.jegs.com/i/Chevrolet-Perf...55066/10002/-1

this kit came with 150 amp alternator and the denso ac compressor.
I believe the denso is a 10 piston and has higher ci than the sanden sd7.
dont know if it makes any difference. But my stock ac was a denso and had no problems.

Have base ls3 engine, so whatever balance that came with the stock engine.

    Teaser pics:
Exhaust pipes are only temporary. I'll need to take it to my exhaust guy and also the AC shop to connect the fittings.

    Hey guys,
Sorry I've been very busy. Car is running great, but I have some issues.
    1) If I had to do it over I would get a 7.2L or a 7.4L, as the 6.2L while a big change from my S52 doesn't seem that fast anymore. I got used to the power.

    2) I am having issues with the purge valve. Only after I got it home and put it in the garage, it smelled like gas. The connect and cruise LS3 doesnt have a connection for the purge valve.
I found a shop in Pinellas Park, FL that tapped into the wire off the ecu and got the purge valve to work. There is suction in the charcoal can (I got an AC Delco one)
The charcoal canister has 3 openings, one goes to the purge valve, the other to the gas tank and the other to fresh air. Ideally there should be a vent solenoid at the end of the fresh air tube.
So the current setup is causing some issue. My understanding was when the purge opens up it sucks the fumes from the charcoal can and fresh air will come in thru the fresh air tube. And the vent solenoid is always open and only closes once in a while to test the system. Or does it only open up when the purge is open?
Sometimes the car wont start in the purge valve is hooked up so I have to unhook it.
    3) If you buy the LS3 Erod pkg it has the purge hook up and a purge valve.
    4) Vorshlag did say they use a harness from wiring specialties for their LS2 and they have the wire for the purge valve.

    Any suggestions?

There is no 7.2 and the 7.4 is not a production motor.

getting used to the power is common haha, If you really want to challenge yourself take it out to the track and start challenging yourself mentally for better times!!!!

WIth that being said, you can always throw on an LSA blower or turbo and have endless amount of power, the turbo i'm using for my build is rated for 1200hp, i think the car will fall apart before that power level though haha

Vorshlag gets the 7.2 or 7.4 made at Horsepower research:
    https://horsepower-research.com/coll...-ls-long-block

Chevy makes lsx 454 which is a 7.4L.

The other issue I have is the steering rack making noise when you turn. Its not rubbing, it's something with the cooler.
And the clutch is not returning back quickly any more. I had it bled, I don't see a leak. Will try to bleed it with the motive power bleeder.

Clearly you don’t know what production means.
