If you have enough exhaust for your power level already the cut out won't do much except for noise and maybe some spool.

For sure placement is key, but I don't see a cut out doing much on a straight through 3.5" exhaust at 700-800 whp.

Only reason Im looking into it is to get some quicker spool and turbo noises The pic I posted is from a well known car on this forum

DSS has sent back the shortened driveshaft, just need to check fitment.

Should be starting the build in the next 2 weeks!

Was that 16 rwhp gain with a catless 3.5 inch exhaust?

No, that was over stock exhaust, im looking back for the Dyno comparison so I can pos them and verify the HP gain.
    The spool difference was huge

What Phil is saying, is there technically shouldn't be any Gaines on a 3.5 or 4" exhaust + cutout. W/ a 3" or smaller, yes.

I guess in OP's case, he is making big power. Not sure when 3.5 becomes a choke point. Maybe 900-1000 ?

That I can agree, the biggest difference over a 3.5 or 4" exhaust would be spool and sound... it does sound sweet when you open it up.

What is the purpose of the short section of hard line you have between one of the AN lines next to the flex fuel sensor?

You might want to reinforce that transmission crossmember.

I like your quick change diff version of the rear subframe.

How much did you take out of the driveshaft ? This was from a ZF 5 to a 420G ?

The transmission cross members have a tenancy to crack.

Thanks Perry, and I apologize for the wait on those parts, Im making a trip to get them this weekend.

The lift is great, saves a ton of time. I'm so anal that the car is always on the lift so the tires dont get flat spots lol

I ended up buying it used, they are pretty affordable, its a Mohawk A-7, If you know lifts, you know this is the premo top of the line lift.

Although I never broke a trans brace, I use a reinforced one that Mike R. did for me years ago. I think Rally Road sells a fancy trans brace.
