I put it in the thread. With the material I took off the back of the flywheel it weighs 16lbs.

Ive had alot of both "heavy" and light clutch setups, i prefer the heavy. They drive way better all around and are quiet and easy to use.

And helps control a nasty turbo car with limited traction....The difference is huge....

After consulting with some other members here who have had heavier flywheels, I decided to keep the lightweight steel flywheel. Thanks for the help Gents!

While the car is down for the winter, I sent in my 115 lb injectors to South Bay Fuel Injector for a cleaning and flow test. After 1500 miles of use in 2 years, they said they were dirty. South Bay were great to deal with, they even explained to me how the ethanol keeps coating the inside of the injector making it dirty, sort of like coats of paint layers. Since the car sits alot during the winter, they advised to run some tanks of pump gas though to keep them from coating up.

Picked up a complete set of Porsche 996 brake calipers. Just need to send them into Rally Road to have the fronts machined and get the brackets,

Very nice set of calipers, if you run e46 m3 rotors you wont have to machine the brackets but then you have to run 18" or specific 17".

Keeping the lightweight M3 17x7.5" wheels up front so machining the calipers and running E46 M3 325mm rotors. Im not giving up the stock look anytime soon

I'm interested to hear your review on these brakes. I get mixed reviews. What pads ?

Lol my friend who's a tech at Porsche offered me a set of those calipers (fronts). If they clear 17s I may go for it, an upgrade may be due with an extra gear and all.

Do you know exactly where needs to be machined so that it'll clear?

Everything else I looked at within the same price range would not fit with the stock wheels. Pads for the street will be minimal dust, track pads for stopping this 170mph+ monster will be an aggressive pad.

The bosses need to be machined 12mm if youre trying to fit these with stock wheels with 325mm rotors

Looking into OBDI coils for the valve cover, there are a ton of different part #s for the Bosch coils. Are some better meaning higher powered than others?

Coils and valve cover squared away. Got the compressor cover powdercoated too. Not much excitement, still waiting on the machine shop, should be sometime next week.

Im looking at QTP cut outs for the exhaust, I'm using a 3.5" exhaust, they make a 3.5" cut out but they don't make a 3.5" turn down for it. Should I be going with a 3" or stick with the 3.5"

Not my pic but I like the design,

You could also use a boost solenoid valve to keep it closed if needed.

Can you adjust at what psi that cutout opens?

You could with a different actuator or add a boost controller. Mine opens at 6-7 psi. It's totally quiet unless I go past 7 psi boost.

If you ever got pulled over do to loud exhaust you could say "wasn't me" then free rev it for him. You won't build enough boost free revving to open the cut out

My buddy would run a 60mm ebay wastegate for his cut out. Worked good.

Bosch 0221504029, they looked very similar to the OBDII coils which never gave me any problems.

Gents - Already have 2-38mm boost activated cut outs lol, just looking for a cutout to bypass the 2 mufflers when wanted.

I think Sniz did some Dyno testing using a cutout and had no gains. The cut out probably needs to be positioned such as it is in the image you posted so that the the inertial of the exhaust gases will want to exit out the cutout. Same as how 90° WG placements suck.

I want the cut out just for effect with my open dump wg. I think it'd be so cool to have the cut out open at 6 psi and the wg open at 15+ .. would be cool changes in exhaust note throughout the pull!
