Hello I've got a 2002 325Ci with ET47(47mm offset) wheels and 225/45rz17 tires.
I'm looking to buy a used set of 16" 205/55R16 tires/wheels....but the offset is IS44...which I guess is the same as ET44. I believe the car it came from was a 2010 128 model...but not sure.
my manual shows that 205/55r16 are ok...but it doesnt show the ET.
I read somewhere that e46's will accept anywhere from 35-47mm. Is that true?
So, will that 3mm make a difference? Will they fit?
Thanks
Actually the used set being sold are off a 2010 323i.
They should fit on my 2002 325Ci, right?
The offset difference is 3mm but that should be OK, right?
It should fit as long and rim width isn't too far off. If you are looking to pick up OE rims from 128 you should be fine. Be aware that 128i wheels may have run flat tires that will ride very harsh on your e46.
