2003 325i wagon, no dash cluster lites, no turn signals, no headlight control via lkm

Good Day Forum members, I just purchased a 2003 e46 wagon and driving it home there were no lites on the dash cluster, the other interior illumination such as switches on console work fine. i checked the hazard lites and they work fine with switch in console. as soon as i turn the key on the headlamps come on but cannot get brights to work via light switch on column. From what i can gather the lkm controls all of this, HELP. Before i say more the battery was dead on the car and i put in the right battery but did not wait 30 minutes between battery connect. all of the guages as well as the pixels on the center are working, the indicators for airbag and seatbelt are on with the belt connected when i drive.

Have a diagnostic scan done to reveal fault codes. Then we can see what repair path to follow.
