Painting a cage sucks, I never want to do it again... though I'm sure I probably will.

Pink "hotboi" tape to protect cage paint

NRG passenger seat is nicer than the ancient momo I had.

Car feels good, still some tweaks to be made to the rear which should only improve it.
Tires sucked and didn't last long, MuchoMacho 255/35 chunked and had little grip.

    Andy,

I'm not gonna lie. I got kinda excited when I was scrolling and saw a pink cage. Then, I saw it was tape and was a little disappointed.
    Maybe next time? LOL.

car looks great! get rid of that passenger seat to maximize 'social distancing'.
always trying to make it lighter and faster

I wanted it to be pink! LOL
Honestly the paint turned out so horrible that pink cage may still happen someday. I rushed cause I had like 1 week until the event and then ended up not even going cause I sprained my knee. (don't get in a fight with a moving trailer)

Few more photos from last event in march

Wanted to fix all the rear camber so I put in Nerptech Camber arms and spherical RTABS I've had sitting.

Unfortunately at .5 positive camber my toe was crazy bad so still cambered in to keep 0 toe. Say no to raising your car.
Got these rtab pockets from xcessive mfg (still not in lol)

Put in a rear bash bar with a jack point but caused my bumper to have an ugly sag cause of prior wall entanglements. Couple nutserts fixed the sag, also some pool noodle foam inside.

Trying out the Kenda KR20A's for the first time since everyone praises them so highly. 265/35/18

    Interior looks the same basically.

Don't really have much blowby but was always sketched out by a breather filter right over the turbo/exhaust manifold so added a cheapo amazon catch can with AN lines.

Gonna tow out to Apple Valley Speedway 7/18 for the Loose Socks Daisuki event. Probably won't enter the comp but we'll see, not really taking enough tires.

Broke a driveshaft at grange all because I avoided an idiot who stopped on track.

Whats everyones opinion on a 1 piece driveshaft with no guibo? Denofa says it'll break transmissions. My torque ain't that high though...
There's also clutch delay valves but I don't want to add that if I don't absolutely have to.

People swear by the clutch delay valves to save axles. They aren't like the stock BMW ones. I would do a 1 piece and try out that aftermarket CDV. If it sucks, just take it out. Most JZ swaps I know run 1 piece drive shafts. I haven't seen many destroyed transmissions... lol. Hard to tell when it's because of the drive shaft tho.

Here's what the driveshaft looked like when I pulled it out.

Prepping a subframe for nerptech bushings and will be switching from the stock 95 M3 3.15 LSD to a 3.91 Welded.
Gotta get this done before I can order a 1 piece driveshaft.
