Great build, I'm in the process of doing the same on my Z3M coupe.
Glad to see you're putting a real cage in, I could not help but notice the curves in the main front bars of what was in the car.
poor cage.jpg
They would have folded easily in a crash.

Thank you for all your messages !
Yes, security and staying alive are the most important things.
I have two targets :
Security (as my son is coming with often during trackdays)
And meet the FFSA(French one) and FIA rules
I'm Also trying to have an efficient but easy to pilot coupe.
Thank you for reading !
That has been in netherlands for ages and also for sale for ages. That car: http://jalopnik.com/for-51-600-this-...-th-1685182564
Being that we have at least two S85B50 engined M Coupes, I would say that there is at least 5 other S62 engined coupes easily out there... But I dont think they were made by Hartge but someone individual later.

Z3 & E36 RamAir systems, send private message for more information.
Today, I worked on the rear axle.
The weight is 37 kilos 82 pounds with screws and oil.
The ratio is 4,67 :
Some paint :
On of my friend borrowed me this broken part from M3 E36 3liter, I'd like to use it to make a second "ears" for my rear axle. we'll see that point later.
Better like this
It was very very hard to mount the rear axle, because the Powerflex push it to the rear and it was so hard to put the 4 srews, some F..... BMW and Powerflex helped me a little !!
4 and half hours later !
I will try this :
C'est la panique, plus de feux de route ni de croisement, pas de clignotants, pourquoi ?? Sans doute un mauvais coup de ceux qui ont m'ont fait l'arceau :suspect: :suspect: :suspect:
You remeber no more stop light, I thought I made a mistake when I worked on the wires...
My friend found the plug, it was hidden behind the dashboard ! Now it works !
Another mistake, I'm so embarrased to tell you the truth !
No mote light and turn signal, once again my friend (which is a BMW "M" specialist) laughed at me.
Hey Gatouille just push the ignition button on !
I tried to forget my shame while mounting both water and oil 's radiators
Wire's light are in place
Very happy to close this Pandora's box !
Water cooling expansion tank had to be adapted because the roll cage.
Many boxes on my table mean very much to do !
You what ? I'm happy !
Some black paint.
Rear shock
My tires are ready for 2017 !
On my Lexan's windows I want the black part all arround it. I ask for a sticker'maker (who own a M3 E36 S50B32 for race!)
He's got a file for M coupe !
The file is not enough precise and unfortunately we can't use it, he gave me this to it myself,
I like the vent. Not going to do shit, but funny. When you are cutting out the lexan for the windows, do a couple extra fronts and keep the protection covers on them. You will need to replace fairly often The sourcing and setup to cut is more effort than finding a good place to store extras. The bow in our front glass is enough to support 165MPH. Never been faster so can't tell you if a reinforcement bar is needed above that speed. My gut says no. Its pretty strong.
Dan "PbFut" Rose
The vent might conceivably do something if there are no front wheel fender liners. But I think you want the fender liners. I postulate that they smooth out the aero under the bumper and around the front wheels. It makes it a little harder to do brake ducting but it's totally doable.
I like the unicorns.

I decided to change the rod bearing shell, if you look on the Internet for M3 E36 E46 and even later, there are pages and pages
about it !
We can either consider that it is a weak point, or as I think of it, to consider that it is the maintenance running
A special tool would be needed,
Some S50B32's crankcase has got one drain plug some one them has got 2, mine has got only one, that a shame ! that let more dirty oil inside.
ohhh nice find on the hood...
I seriously cannot wait to see some video from the track with this car. It is going to be a beautiful racecar.
Awesome build, keep up the progress
That coupe with Hartge hood... What engine does that car have?
