I brought my car at this garage for paint,
only the main body, as I don't want to paint the OEM parts (doors wings...)
They will be replaced by fiberglass parts as soon as I will have enought money....
Some rare Alpines there!
A little wink of my previous motorcycles....
125 EXC 2004 great !
KTM 400 EXC 2000
250 KTM limited edition SIX DAYS from1986, not so bad as I was only 20 years old !
Thanks for all the great photos, as a mechanic, I love looking at shops in other parts of the world to see what sort of tools people are using, jack stands, lifts, stuff lying around. Here's a pic of my former bike, now living in Sweden.

Thank you Tom very n"ice " !!
Many hours on rear and front bumpers :
I'm little bit fed up with this job !
Ready to paint !
Bumpers too...
The color is KTM orange RAL 2009 :
It's always a king of magic to discover the car throw the windows's paint booth !!!
NO ENTRY SIR, the paint is still drying up !
The front bumper was in a very bad shape, so it's not surprising to find this, sorry.
I'm so happy !
Very cool! Cant wait to see some pictures of it all put back together
Thank you, it will be little bit uggly this year, red black orange, later it will be nicer (all orange with fiberglass parts)
I started to work on fire extinguisher's hoses (pipes?), 2 nozzles for pilot and passenger, 2 nozzles for the motor (injection and exhaust manifold)
Wires for rear lights
A friend of mine borrowed me this very useful tool.
Everything is in order, it's easier to work for me.
It's messy, but it's not finish, sorry !
Battery will not move...
Somme weight saved !
11 hours of job for nothing spectacular !
Time to Assembly the rear hook , and fill the unused holes. Before there was a nasty end of adhesive tape...
Also the rear lights are connected.
The main electronic box is situated in the motor compartment of origin, but with tubes everywhere , it found a place under the dashboard in front of the passenger, the removable lid is accessible.
Connecting all the +
I have to undo, because the nozzles are not in a very good place
Fuel pump is connected
Cool Suits are for pussies. LOL
Looking good. Lots of tie in points. Rock solid platform. Legal for your class or is this just track day fun?
Dan "PbFut" Rose
Both, first for track day fun and later for competition. That's let me enough time to prepare it (and money to spend for)
GT Classic or saloon car (historic cars)

I did not notice. Did you reinforce the rear pan area? That looks like a delrin bushing. If the subframe is not rock solid relative to the body, there is a good possibility the movement will stress the diff mount and related pan area as the bushing will not flex as the subframe rolls from on/off power torque. There is a video of this action floating around the cloud somewhere. Day light will soon be visible without some welding involved.
Dan "PbFut" Rose
Thank you for you answer, it important to notice.
I did it, we reinforced (2 times) the subframe, I will do more next year with more torque and power.
This post is amazing!!!!
Thank you very much !
Keep us posted, much appreciated! Great thread man!
