OBC/Instrument Cluster not working 2003 325i

Hello,
I am posting for a friend. He just bought a 2003 325i that was side swiped in the driver's side.
The car runs, but the instrument panel and OBC are not working.
Any trouble shooting ideas?
He changed all the fuses in the glovebox.
I suggest checking the DME and the cluster panel connections, but I don't know how
to access the cluster panel? Please advise.

Do a battery reset and see what happens
