Hey guys, been a long time since I have made an appearance here, but I just purchased a 2011 328i Sedan. Really pretty car. It is a deep sea blue metallic. I needed a different car to go to and from work in, and the '86 L7 I have been taking care of for several years now doesn't have room to be here. I love the E23's, and I am definitely going to pick another one up someday when I'm older.
The car in question that I am selling would certainly make a good parts car to anyone here, but it runs very strong, and can be driven away hailing ass with shy of 130,000 on the still-ticking odometer and the following done as maintenance in the ~12,000 miles I've put on the car in the past 4 years;
- Miller MAF and chip conversion.
- Bilstein HD Shocks and Struts all around.
- New Bosch 4-hole injectors.
- New spark plug wires.
- New in-tank VDO fuel pump.
- New fuel pressure regulator.
- Complete tune-up (Spark plugs, valve adjustment, fuel filter, all that noise.)
- Billy Boat muffler system (Purchased from Hit Man X here on the forums a little ways back.)
- Calipers and rotors recently replaced.
- Stainless steel brake lines.
- Complete OEM tool kit in trunk. Green screwdrivers and all.
- E38 Style 5 (I think?) wheels.
- Clear/white turn signal indicator lenses.
- Yes, it still has the rear sun shade.
- Power mirrors still work.
- Premium sound system still works.
- All vacuum lines are extra thick silicone and BRAND NEW.
+ Oil was changed and coolant was flushed a month ago.
Extra parts not pictured:
- Perfect L7 dashboard I've been keeping in my closet conditioned that was pulled from another L7 in a junkyard for me awhile back. Sell for a pretty good amount on the rare occasion they even come up anymore.
- New sealed valve cover gasket.
- Used but working main injection relay I kept as a spare.
- Possibly more stuff, will update if I find more in my closet.
Things to note:
- AC does not work as per usual.
- Missing passenger side vent pillar.
- All of the items above that I claim have been done to the car are backed up with receipts from professional shops only (I don't work on this.) and receipts for all parts.
- I am not parting this car out myself to sell bits off. Whether the buyer keeps it on the road or uses it's guts to improve another E23 is up to them.
Feel free to PM me for any picture requests of any kind.
Asking $2,000 for everything. I just want it to go to an E23 appreciating home of any kind instead of me whoring it out on Craigslist to someone who doesn't understand.
Thanks,
Jesse
