Hi,
swithched to winter tires.
No problem when driving on speed above 15km/h and high speed. The car drives like after alignment made.
When slowly stopping there is a whooshing sound (like something rubbing).
What they could do wrong?
Sure I will go to garage tomorrow. But just to know... When changing tires they not suppose to touch something...
Thanks.
Are these winter tires mounted on different rims that are not original to the car?
it is the story...
original summer tires came on 16''. I got 4 winter tires Continental Winter Contact 17inch on original BMW RIMs. One rim was slightly damaged (didn't keep the air last winter). So I got different spokes original 17'' RIM.
This is a second winter that I am going to use winter tires. Say truth last year it was the same effect. I brought it garage. Yong guys couldn't find what it was. Eventually the noise disappeared.
Are you saying it is a mag's issue? Why it is just on slowest speed? The car drives very stable even in today's first slushy conditions.
Im saying.... If the winter tires are mounted on wheels not indigenous to the car, the offsets of the wheels may be different and cause the tire to rub somewhere.
super clear!
Thanks!
