Merry Christmas all, and best wishes for 2017!
My wife surprised me with tickets to the Canadian Grand Prix in 2017! Trying to plan my trip now. We'll be there June 8 - 12. Anyone have recommendations for some must see places in Montreal as well as romantic meal locations? I'm just now starting to plan out the trip, but if anyone has been before and really enjoyed something, I'm all ears!

Seeing news reports on Google News in Italian that Valentino Rossi is the replacement for Rosberg. Anybody seeing anything else on this?
I am seeing that Mercedes hope to set up a test with Rossi.
Huh? Rossi in F1??
Looks like this is only a promotional test or a negotiating ploy with Williams. Rossi is 37 yrs old. More likely they would go after Jorge Lorenzo.
Fake news, methinks.

This was the quote "Toto Wolff admits he "would love" to give MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi and four-time World Rally champion Sebastien Ogier promotional tests in a Mercedes in future.:
The smell gets to you after awhile.
Exposure is my excuse for that having failed to register.
Looks like Wehrlein is headed to Sauber. Kinda glad he still has a seat.
Wish Merc would make the announcement already........

Sorry, yeah I had read a couple of articles yesterday prior to posting the response. But today I've read a few more and while (yesterday's articles were clear in that Whiting had said those suspensions were illegal) and yet the articles I read today stated that their still is some grey area within the re-stated rules.
IM (granted not professional)O, I believe that any suspension component that saves energy to be used later in the lap to raise/lower/change ride heights can (and probably) will be seen as moveable aero devices (since they are impacting the aero of the vehicle). However, this is probably more true for RBR's use of their trick suspension and maybe less so for Merc but - as far as I've read - no-one really knows (outside of RBR/Merc themselves) what they are actually achieving/doing. So there is some wiggle room but I think Charlie will be forced to close these interpretations. Especially since it's Ferrari who questioned them (wanting clarity) because Ferrari lost out big time in the latter stages of last year particularly due to RBR's gains.
Ferrari probably doesn't want to have to go and invest the time/money to try to get a trick suspension of their own so they are trying to put the kabosh on other teams who are using it.
