In for hopefully a better and not so dominant season this year. Also, best of luck to Mclaren-Honda.

I'd be surprised if McLaren makes it through 50 laps of practice through all 3 sessions at this point.

Yep, hoping Honda gets it together. Really want to see them start turning it around.

Interesting. I'm really trying to tame my enthusiasm for Ferrari because, well, we know how much they love to claim they have a "good" shot this season.

    So, podiums - by manufacturer:

    Merc, Merc, RBR.

I don't want it this way, I just expect it will be so. Reserve right to change my mind after Free Practice.

The massive cluster at turn 1 will leave a bunch of hopefuls out. Cars are much wider this year. Starts different yet again due to tire width/grip levels. Formation laps will be more critical in getting/maintaining heat into tires/brakes (tires are wider/heavier therefore more energy needed), braking distances change a lot.

I still also have no reason to change my mind in that cars will be more difficult to follow closely this year. DRS will become very important.

Fully expect the two Fin's to go after it pretty hard.

So Red Bull is expected to be fast though, right? No serious engine issues anymore, and wasn't Newey back at the drawing board too (after they agreed to him designing the supercar)? Hopefully they won't be far off Merc and Ferrari's tail and develop well during the season.

Who knows they could be the team to beat.

My podium prediction will have to be:
    1) Merc
    2) RBR
    3) Ferrari

    If my predictions fail, I'll ..... I - I'll ...... I will .... do nothing.

    With equipment, sure.

I can't put them in the same talent queue, though.

How can you tell? Hamsandwich has never had to deal with inferior equipment.

    Kimi?

The bulk of his early career comes to mind. That McMerc grenaded plenty.
