I can see Nico DNFing due to a failure of some sort. The guy has the worst luck.

It happened a couple/few years ago where he had a really bad closing race and he couldn't take the fight to Hamilton for the title.

What if Nico just takes out Hammy and himself? Would he get docked points?

nico or lewis colliding, taking each other out would be fantastic for F1! Like they did in Spain then maybe add little bit of Nascar pushing and shoving and you got yourself a real classic F1 show

Nothing fun in watching a girl-fight...at least that one.

Start is all that matters now. Both need a clean start and stay ahead of others.

This is the only race this season where I hope the guys in the front just have a normal start, with the Red Bulls and Ferraris not mixing it up with the Mercs at all.

I hope for a boring race up front for the Mercs, and then a nice battle for 3rd, 4th, and between the Force Indias and Williams (though Force India basically already won, and will beat Williams today too).

Looks like Hamilton immediately started backing Rosberg into the cars behind...

This has to be some kind of record on showing all kinds of other stuff instead of actual cars racing in an F1 broadcast... (Sky)

Rosberg could go about 1 sec quicker than this pace, there's no reason for him not to attack Verstappen and be able to pass. Especially now that Verstappen is on super-old super softs!! Jesus, his attempts earlier were SO WEAK!! Whenever Verstappen does the slighest jink to defend the inside Rosberg just aborts...

EDIT: Ok, now that Verstappen was basically dead in the water little Nico finally gathered enough courage to pass. And as we see it was super easy.

Wow! Nico came from long way back. Saved a lot of KERS energy and with the use of DRS he got Max. Nice!

    +1

What the hell does Hamilton deserve?

    - - - Updated - - -

Yup, now Rosberg is one second quicker than Verstappen's earlier pace...

    - - - Updated - - -

I'm not getting why the commentators are feeling so worried about Verstappen threatening the Mercs... The Mercs have great pace still with these tires, and later on they can just put on some super softs or even just softs and really push with them, while Verstappen will have to go easy all the way to the end of the race, and he's behind them on track to begin with.

The Mercs are EASILY faster than the Ferraris and Ricciardo too. Rosberg is safe, as long as nothing out of the ordinary happens *knock knock*.

    - - - Updated - - -

Sainz was WAY out of line against Grosjean. What was he thinking?

    - - - Updated - - -

Sky Sports: can we please watch the race instead of Jenson Button in the pits??

    - - - Updated - - -

So now Rosberg needs to man up and gather up the courage to at least try to attack Hamilton. Even though that's the last thing he ever wants to do for some reason.

    - - - Updated - - -

Should Rosberg just wave Vettel by if he comes up fast behind him? That is enough for WDC title, and that will force Hamilton to fight against Vettel. Either Hamilton loses 1st which is automatic championship for Rosberg, or Hamilton has to up his pace which means Rosberg can keep clear from the threat of Verstappen.

    - - - Updated - - -

Vettel's tires are getting tired now though, they're past their prime. So Vettel might not get past Rosberg? Just a few more laps.

    - - - Updated - - -

Good thing that Verstappen will not pass Rosberg so WDC is Rosberg anyway, no matter what unsporting bitch tricks Hamilton pulls.

Yeah, I think Hamilton deserves the championship over Nico because he is clearly the better more dominant driver....It looks more like he lost the championship rather than NIco actually won it!! Nico is winning by the hair of his chin because he hasn't had the bad luck Hamilton had this year with reliability. Even if NIco pulls out this weak championship run he will still not be the odd to win next year against Hamilton. Verstappen and Ricardo have his number next year. Boo Nico.

Does anyone like LuLu including the rest of the grid? Such a tosser.
You ask any ricer, any serious ricer. It doesn't matter if the other guy is racing or not. A win is a win.

Watching the internet flip out over how much Nico's WDC win is "not deserved" is intensely satisfying.
