Not too much for updates but thought I'd share some new things. Got a little bored with the plain looking engine bay so me and butters had some fun with it to match the rest of the car. Also Swapped over to a bigger wastegate spring and hit the track with Greg (modaddict) this past friday where we both ran our new PB for ET and MPH.
Nice you're probably making 600whp trapping 130.
He is running a T3 6262 with a .63 AR 2.5" intercooler and a 2.5" downpipe at 20 psi.
I seen people with T4's huge 67-68mm turbos not pulling as good as his traps. He has a little more left in it before we give him any more power. But I/we want to set an example with this car, you don't need some huge turbo to make good power on pump. This car shows that a solid built, sorted out turbo e36 can hang with big money big turbo builds. To boot, he has AC. This is a perfect street car IMO. Instant spool 130mph car with quality budget parts. He also has over 10,000 miles on this thing without a glitch. Impressive to say the least.
Sure, when the bigger turbo really cranks up the boost, it will walk away, but seems to me everyone is scared to run over 17-20psi on pump gas. So, most don't .

Thanks butters. Yea every time we make a small adjustment here or there to the car it takes it and runs with it and asks for more. That last pass was at 20 psi with me sliding around and getting near the wall because I didn't get enough heat in the tires. At this same level I honestly think it has 1-2 mph more in it. This car was not supposed to be this quick. It just gets faster and faster every time we make small adjustments to it. Funny thing is, on the way home after these passes the car seemed to drive smoother than before. Lol
It's the new valve cover color that gave the extra push :P
Great job, keep it up.
Just noticed your washer fluid matches your valve cover. Nicely done. The rest of the car is pretty good too

Fun road trip yesterday. Went over to Thompson motor speedway for the lock city drift night drift event. Coincidentally this is the same track and event I went to when the car was just finished in below 0 degree weather with the wind chill. It's had 11,000+ miles put on it since then, 50+ track passes, and I beat on it pretty much every where. Yesterday's road trip was about 220 miles all together. I love this car!!
Some more testing today and got some results. New personal best of 11.200 @ 130 mph. The hunt for 10s is on as the season closes. We will now begin pushing the envelope on the car more and more. With a really good 60' The car will go into the 10s how it sits. It just keeps getting faster and faster.
Very good! You are driving impressively well and thatt little 0.63 backhousing is doing much better than I thought it would.
Seriously, I never expected for him to do better then 125. He is still under 21# boost pressures. Now we will really get to see how much an exhaust plays a part. He is currently running a 2.5" down pipe, and has a hand full of 130mph trap slips. So, first we will upgrade only the down pipe and keep the car under 21# and see the difference. Since everyone claims 50+whp from 3" to 3.5" we should see the same going from 2.5" to 3".
Amazing either way with all these little parts on this car.

thanks phil. Yea it's exceeded expectations time and time again. This pass could've easily been an 11.0-11.1 pass but I messed up on my 1-2 shift after the launch. That and a better 60', my best being a 1.6, the car even at this level can get into the 10s. This also was at 19-20 psi too which it still has a few more psi I can safely throw at it. I'll be pushing it more and trying to launch it hard at IFO next sunday.
Get that 60ft down and add alittle bore boost and your goal of 10's will come. Congrats on your new achievement !

Congrats, 10’s here we come
Some updates. New personal best of 10.9@131
Went on a road trip today to the Flume Gorge in Franconia Notch State Park and then a blast through the Kancamangus just 1 day after hot-lapping the car at the track 6 times all passes being 130-131 mph and getting my 10 second goal. 300 miles in total with elevation reaching as high as 4,000+ feet. To top it off the car averaged 28.2 mpg on the trip! Guess the hybrid emblem is working.
Very impressive, not many 10 second street cars can do that. I hardly ever see any cars that fast getting driven to the track, let alone a legit daily driver.
Awesome! I need to get new ac lines made and then I’ll be there with mine. Having a fast car that you can drive all of the time is awesome. Congrats!
