I don't know if I wanna go that far yet with it. It's not a drag car, i just do it for fun. I don't want too much added noises or for the car to become a chore to drive. And also those two things are very expensive.

Oh I know it doesn't exactly NEED these things per say, but my axles and rear end are all very very worn out. 160k miles on everything almost and the car knows it very well. It's really more for confidence than anything.

This was just at my current settings on the base tune still. I could've put the boost up even more if I wanted without the meth but I decided 120 was my goal for yesterday.

Sorry for being a noob but what's a 4L80?
Were those times just on wastegate spring still? or is the boost controller dialed in to something a little higher?

yea that wasn't fun. lol which is why I'm terrified of doing it again. I've twisted the driveshaft right at the line, broken the shifter and broken the diff bolt on this car all within a week before when it was only making half the power it makes now. I can cut that 60' down significantly, that isn't the problem. The problem is making sure I drive the car home afterwards.

here's one of those runs against a c7 stingray. lol I was beating him to the 60' all night long.
Nicely done.

Awesome dude, can't wait till you add in the meth and some more boost, job well done, very good results
Yea I've been Babying it off the line so it won't break anything but it's funny to see it trapping the same thing 11 second cars trap. Lol

Yea can't wait man. We'll be upgrading the rear end and adding the meth kit soon. Then I'll go back and see what it can do at real boost levels.
I like the progress. Its definitely a nice feeling to drive to the track, have a ton of fun, then cruise home at the end of the night.

Alright so, a couple updates since the last time. Basically decided all in one conversation with butters that it's not even worth wasting time and shying away from the big boy stuff. Picked up a dss driveshaft, 210 diff, rally road conversion kit, built HD axles and now we're going to be putting it in.
Everything's PURPLE!!!!
Nice! Someone who likes purple as much as me XD
